Lead Free Tapware

From May 2026, updated regulations will require all newly installed copper-alloy (brass) products to contain no more than 0.25% of lead. Any tapware installed must also be both lead-free and dezincification resistant (DZR), providing improved safety and long-term performance. In line with these requirements, complaint products will be clearly identified as lead-free with "LF" or "Lead-Free" markings shown on the product and it's packaging to assist with easy identification.

From 1 February 2026, returns of non-lead-free products will no longer be accepted at Elite Bathroomware. This change will be clearly communicated in our showroom to ensure customers are aware of this change. We recommend only purchasing the quantities required for each job. Please refer to the FAQs below for more information around exceptions that apply under the new regulations.
